Len Erickson has more than 30 years in broadcasting and journalism. He started his career in the U.S. Army as a broadcast journalist in the Republic of Korea. Hosting a daily morning show and shooting news videos were just part of a military broadcaster’s day. As part of the American Forces Korea Network, Len won a worldwide AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio and Television Service) third-place Keith L. Ware award (the military broadcaster’s excellence award) for best regularly scheduled program for his morning show. After leaving the military, various radio and TV jobs cropped up along with raising a family. He had an 11-year stint as a photojournalist and editor at NewsChannel 8, the NBC TV affiliate in Tampa. Len has been with Hall Radio since November 2008 and has been host of the WLKF morning talk show since July 2012.
