Len has more than 25 years as a broadcaster and journalist. He started his broadcast career in the U.S. Army as a broadcast journalist in the Republic of Korea. Hosting a daily morning show and shooting news videos were just part of a military broadcaster's day. As part of the American Forces Korea Network, Len won a world-wide AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio and Television Service) third-place Keith L. Ware award (the military broadcaster's excellence award) for best regularly scheduled program for his morning show.
After leaving the military, various radio and TV jobs cropped up along with raising a family, including an 11-year stint as a photojournalist and editor at NewsChannel 8, the NBC affiliate in Tampa. Len has been with Hall Radio since November, 2008, serving in various fill-in spots when needed. Len also, from January 2009 until recently, was the host of 97 Country's Sunday Night Classics Show.
Len says radio has always been his first love, career-wise that is.
"I'm very happy to host Mayhem in the AM and bring all my broadcast experience and journalistic mindset with me to make the show the best it can be. My vision for the show is to be fair and balanced and to have the listeners be a part of the process, too. I'm here for you so join the conversation!"
